Hërpes es una banda de Rock formada por 4 personas; Leandro Matías Bajar(Guitarra-Voz), Pablo Abal Diez(Guitarra-Voz), Nicolás Dorado(Bajo) y Rafael Barrera Oro(Batería). Todos oriundos de la Capital Federal.
Desde el 2008 divulga su música, en la que se mezclan Heavy metal, punk y psicodelia. Se encuentran entre sus principales influencias: Iron Maiden, Sex Pistols, Black Sabbath y Motorhead.
En 2009 graban de manera independiente en los estudios Orilla un EP llamado “Material de arcadas” el cual contiene 5 canciones de su autoría.Primeramente se presentaron en vivo en Capital Federal y Gran Buenos Aires, llegando incluso hasta la provincia de Mendoza y el Partido de la Costa en Buenos Aires.
En 2012 la banda graba su primer LP bajo el homónimo titulo de Hërpes, Grabado y mezclado por Adrián Brunetto en Estudios Orilla y masterizado por Gonzalo Villagra en estudio El Abasto.
Este Lp es un viaje por el mundo propio de la banda en el que se aprecian canciones con mucho pulso, rápidas y a medio tiempo también, con fuertes solos de guitarra, “riffs” pesados y enojados, letras que van bruscamente de lo místico a lo terrenal.
Sus conciertos son dinámicos, furiosos y contundentes, demostrando en vivo claramente que saben lo que hacen y lo hacen bien. En directo la banda recurre a algunas herramientas que armonizan indudablemente con su música, estas van desde luces y humo fabricado con hielo seco hasta capas con capucha.
Mientras difunde su Lp y ensaya arduamente, la banda ya esta preparando un nuevo disco que refuerza la idea del primer disco pero desde una perspectiva más violenta, dinámica y amplia, y están listos para no quedarse quietos mostrando que son lo que quieren ser sin quedar bien con nada ni nadie.
